The Combat Patrol tourney was only two days ago and I'm already thinking about the Warhammer Fantasy 750-point Doubles tournament, sponsored by Adult Swim Bunker, coming this July.
Since I've recently been smitten by the Warriors of Chaos, here's the little list I've dreamed up.
2 x 15 Warriors of Chaos
2 x 5 Warhounds
1 x Chaos Sorcerer Level 2 with Dispel Scroll.
3 ranks? Is that even enough or will I lose out in combat resolution?
Perhaps I should have one block of 30 Warriors?
Suggestions? Comments?

Do those blocks of warriors have command? You will find that 15 warriors is very sufficient, even in larger games.
Also, what is a Worshop? I think you're missing a K
ha ha good catch
oh yeah um no command. the sorcerer is chillin' in one of those blocks
could probably afford command if I go to 12.
What you'll generally find in Mortals armies, or let me even broaden that, "elite" armies, are troops blocks in the 12's-20's. Is that optimal? It can be.
As an example, look at pretty much all the current army example pictures in WD and the Mortals army book. All the chaos warrior blocks are blocks of like 12 or 15.
Is that how *I* would play it? I dunno, it would depend on a lot of factors. I would probably do my chaos warriors in either 15's or 20's.
However, at 750 pts, I would do them in 10's, maybe 12's.
The moral of the story is don't feel shy not using 20-man blocks, especially when you are talking about troops of the potency of chaos warriors.
Also, full command!
What if I dropped my Warriors down to 12 per unit, with full command. Should I try to fit a BSB in?
